Mesoglea protects the body and line up the gut. These animals possess radial symmetry. Some examples of diploblastic animals are Ctenophora, cnidaria, comb jellies, jellyfish, corals and sea anemones.
What Is Triploblastic?
The triploblastic animals have three germ layers. These types of organisms have germ layers, namely endoderm, ectoderm and mesoderm. All these three layers perform their specific functions. The ectoderm is responsible for the formation of the eye lens, spinal cord, hair and brain. Due to the interaction of mesodermal cells, the difference between endoderm and ectoderm takes place. Mesoderm forms the body cavity called coelom. Due to the presence of a body cavity, these organisms are complex. The body organs are settled in this cavity.
The body cavity that is formed by the mesoderm protects the organs from shock and dehydration. All the complex organisms have mesoderm.
